Ten Live Find Alternative Employment For Tata Steel Workers In Lanarkshire

December 22, 2016

In October 2015 steel giant Tata confirmed that it is to close its two plants in Scotland with the loss of 270 jobs at the Dalzell plate rolling works in Motherwell and 45 posts at the Clydebridge plant in Cambuslang. Affected workers are now looking for alternative employment and to be redeployed elsewhere within Lanarkshire (1).

Ten Live are delighted to be able to announce that we are finding and placing ex-Tata Steel employees into other roles, for example, mechanical fitter roles in the Lanarkshire area with leading building supplier merchants. Ten Live director Joanne Telfer commented; “Lanarkshire and community are vitally important to Ten Live and we would like to help as many ex-Tata employees as possible find employment back in the local workforce”.

If you are an ex-Tata Steel employee looking for employment and looking to utilise your skills and experience in other sectors, please e-mail your CV to karen@tenlivegroup.com
