Ten Live And Interserve Learning & Employment International– Meeting The Urgent Need For UK Vocational, IT & Engineering Teachers in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia is working towards greater economic expansion under its strategic plan to transform the Saudi economy, ‘Vision 2030’, launched in 2016.  Improving the quality of education across the Kingdom and the development of “skills” to equip future is at the core of Vison 2030.

The Saudi government has invested £850m in 100 colleges under its ‘Colleges of Excellence Programme’, as part of Vision 2030, to boost technical and vocational education and training in Saudi Arabia. This is through partnerships with international (UK) education providers; utilising overseas best practices, pedagogies and standards and employing education experts, further education trainers, instructors and consultants in vocational, technical and IT.

Over 30 colleges, led by international providers, have already been set up across Saudi Arabia as part of the Colleges of Excellence programme. In 2017 the Saudi government reiterated a firm commitment to the Colleges of Excellence Programme, and is focused on “the expansion of existing programmes and the opening of new colleges”. Ten Live and Interserve Learning & Employment International are at delighted to be at the forefront of these latest developments in our latest UK Further Education recruitment drive.

In March 2017 the Saudi Arabia government also announced a plan to move the Kingdom’s educational system to digital education in two years. This will mean further teaching opportunities for overseas teaching experts in technology and IT.
